Restorative dentistry is a method we use to protect, preserve, and keep the teeth in the mouth. That may require using either composite filling or crown or inlay. The whole idea is to keep the teeth in place to help the patient function and continue their life and chew in the right way.
Fortunately, we offer a variety of restorative dentistry services in our Attleboro, MA dentist office to repair your dental damage and bring back your smile. Our services include:
- Tooth Fillings
- Root canals
- Dental Crowns
- Dental bridges
To find out more about our restorative dentistry, call Attleboro Family Dental Care at (508) 222-2510.
Our Treatments Can Also Repair Cavities
If we find any cavities using our DIAGNOdent cavity detector, we’ll remove the decay and place a tooth-colored composite filling. We don’t use metal for fillings. Composite not only blends in seamlessly with your smile, but it also poses a lower risk of an allergic reaction than metal. For cavities that are too large for a filling but not large enough for a dental crown, we’ll use a porcelain inlay or onlay.
Get Expert Care from Our Root Canal Specialist
If decay gets into the center of your tooth and becomes infected, you may need a root canal to save the tooth. One of our dentists, Dr. Ghyath Alkhalil, is an endodontist. This means he’s had several years of specialized training devoted to rooting canals and other techniques used to save damaged teeth. He’ll use our 3D imaging system to help diagnose and treat you. Though the prospect of a root canal makes many people nervous, you can feel at ease with Dr. Alkhalil performing the procedure.
Get a Dental Crown in a Single Day
If you need a dental crown to fix a cracked, broken, or severely decayed tooth, we’ll use our high-tech CEREC system, which allows us to make the crown in our Attleboro, MA dentist office instead of sending the work to an outside lab. You’ll get your crown the same day instead of the days or even weeks it usually takes! If you need to replace a missing tooth or teeth, we can also use CEREC to make a dental bridge for you.
Attleboro Family Dental Care uses zirconium and e.max ceramic, materials known for their natural appearance and durability. Unlike porcelain dental crowns fused to a metal base, you won’t see a tell-tale dark line at your gums.
For a tooth replacement that feels, looks, and functions like your own teeth, we can attach a dental crown or dental bridge to a dental implant.
