Dr. George Toro

Dr. George Toro started his journey in the field of dentistry at the University of Kalamoon in Damascus, Syria, graduating with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2014. Following the completion of his degree, he dedicated two years to private practice in Syria, honing his clinical skills and gaining valuable experience.
In 2016 Dr. Toro relocated to Canada where he started working at McGill University. He assumed the role of a Clinical Instructor, quickly rising to the position of Professor of Endodontics. His expertise extended to serving as a clinical instructor for both Prosthodontics and Endodontics. Dr. Toro continues to be an active and influential figure at McGill University, maintaining his position as a Professor and engaging with students as a guest lecturer on an annual basis.
Dr. Toro continued his education in the United States at the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine where he received his DMD as part of their Advanced Standing Program in 2023.
Beyond his dedication to dentistry, Dr. George is an accomplished violinist and Orchestra Concertmaster. When he isn’t playing the violin or practicing dentistry, he enjoys playing soccer in his free time.
